Roseville, MI: Using eye-catching paint for impact and distinctiveness, PROFORM has introduced six new big-block Chevrolet® valve covers (1965-96): chrome plated, black crinkle, and high-tech metallic gray – each available in short or tall heights, and equipped with baffles. For maximum leak resistance and mounting flange rigidity, these covers are manufactured from heavy-gauge steel, 20% thicker than typical aftermarket valve covers. The chrome versions are plated to GM specifications, and the black and metallic gray versions are first CED painted for long-term corrosion resistance. The General Motors Trademarks are used under license to Specialty Auto Parts U.S.A, Inc., and the brightly painted Bowtie and Chevrolet emblems are hand-inlaid into the top of each valve cover for elegant authenticity. For a total make-over, the chrome (short: 141-812 & tall: 141-813), the black crinkle (141-810 & 141-811) and attractive metallic gray (#141-814 & 141-815) may be complemented with matching Bowtie air cleaners, breather caps, valve cover hold-downs and wing nuts.
