ROSEVILLE, MI: The newest collector's series engine dress-up kit is now
available from Proform. The Bowtie Chrome Street Performance Dress-Up
Kit (P/N 141-900) comes complete with tall, baffled valve covers, eight
hold-downs, eight wing nuts, a breather, a 14" air cleaner lid and a
timing chain cover. Each individual Factory Performance component is
built by Proform to GM blueprints and features officially licensed
Bowtie and Chevrolet logos in red and black. Available exclusively from Proform, this kit's components have proper steel thickness -- up to 20% heavier-gauge steel than some competitive products offered by the aftermarket. This gives maximum rigidity and minimal distortion for high-performance use. Cosmetically, Proform's Factory Performance components' chrome plating is two to five time thicker than many typical aftermarket offerings. Superior corrosion-resistance and long-term good looks are the results.
The new Bowtie Chrome Street Performance Dress-Up Kit fits 1958-86 Chevy small-blocks. Kit components are also offered individually.
