Full Race Performance, Now In 650 CFM
July 2004
ROSEVILLE, MI: You know the guy, the one who runs a carburetor that's 200 CFM too big for his engine. The guy who can't understand how your "little carb" always beats him off the line. Knowledgeable engine builders know that too much carburetor destroys throttle response and makes an engine sluggish at low RPM, which is why Proform developed the 650 CFM Race Series Carburetor.
Proform Race Series Carburetors are hand-assembled in the United States using Proform’s race-proven carburetor main body, metering blocks and throttle base plate. This 100-percent new carburetor maximizes airflow by omitting the air horn, choke tower and choke control, and is equipped with screw-in air bleeds and non-stick gaskets for easy tuning and maintenance. Proform's billet aluminum Metering Blocks eliminate warpage and porosity problems, and include quick-change idle feed restrictions. The billet aluminum Throttle Base Plate features an adjustable secondary air flow cam bracket, power valve blow out protection, a slip link mechanical secondary linkage and a throttle lever securely welded to the throttle shaft. Timed and full vacuum tubes make tuning or adding accessories a snap. Every Proform Race Series Carburetor is individually engine-tested for final quality assurance. The result: a top-of-the-line mechanical secondary carburetor in 650, 750, 850 and 950 CFM.
