Warren, MI: Good airflow through a carburetor doesn't just happen, it takes an enormous amount of product development to find the subtle modifications that maximize horsepower and torque. Proform® has built this "white coat" wizardry into its line of race-ready carburetor main bodies, so all you have to do is replace the main body in your Holley® Vacuum Secondary® or Double Pumper® carburetor with a high-flow unit from Proform. The Proform Carburetor Main Body is a brand-new assembly (no re-built components) that conveniently utilizes your existing metering blocks, fuel bowls and baseplate to maximize your "bang for the buck". Race carburetors don't need accessories like an air horn, choke tower or choke control, so Proform eliminated them to improve airflow and reduce weight. Adjustable screw-in air bleeds and down leg boosters allow you to fine-tune the carb body to match your engine. Horsepower gains can be dramatic: Proform claims 25-plus when upgrading typical street carbs, even more when resurrecting junkyard dogs. Swapping in the Proform Carburetor Main Body involves only fourteen screws and half an hour labor for the average enthusiast, making it easy to run your street carburetor body during the week and the Proform unit on race weekends. Several different flow rates are available, including 750, 850 and 950 CFM. (Holley®, Vacuum Secondary Carburetor® and Double Pumper® are registered trademarks of Holley Performance Products, Inc. This carb body is made by Specialty Auto Parts, U.S.A., and is not made or endorsed by any other carburetor manufacturer.)
