VAN NUYS, CA – Redesigned for the 1996 model year, the Mercedes-Benz® E-Class was the first of the company’s current line-up of sportier, more-youthful cars. Few knew then that the current-generation S- and C-Classes would follow the precedent set by the E. Performance Products® now lets owners of 1996-2003 E-Class cars add an extra level of style and luxury with new Burlwood accent pieces. Richly grained and highly polished, these pieces will set your interior aglow. Ten separate Burlwood kits are available. They replace the factory components, and their perfect fit makes installation easy. For starters, the Wood & Leather Steering Wheel is compatible with the factory airbag (shown here on a 2000 model; the 1996-1999 application looks slightly different). A matching Wood & Leather Shift Knob even includes the genuine Mercedes® star (pictured), and a Solid Wood Shift Knob is also available. Other offerings are a Wood & Leather Armrest Cover, A/C Vent and Panel Covers, Door Pulls (4-piece kit), Speaker Covers, a Sunroof Handle and a Chrome Shift Surround. The Burlwood accents shown here are on an E430 that has the oyster-colored leather interior. Obviously, these trim pieces will give your E-Class an ultra-luxurious look and feel.
