Performance Products now offers the Perma-Cool Cool Pack II Dual Fan Assembly for 1992-2002 Chevy®/GMC® trucks and SUVs. By eliminating the factory fan, fan clutch and shroud, the Perma-Cool assembly actually provides better cooling and increased horsepower and torque.
Featuring a 1/8-inch-thick 5052 aluminum housing that’s powdercoated black to resist fuel and oil, the Cool Pack II dissipates radiator heat with dual 13-inch high-output electric fans. A cross-flow isolator between the fans maximizes efficiency. The fans are controlled by a thermal sensor that has a highly accurate digital temperature probe, and the sensor can be adjusted to activate the fans anywhere between 160-210 degrees F.
Installation is easy: The Cool Pack II mounts solidly to the radiator support (not to the radiator core) and uses the stock fan shroud mounting holes and fasteners. Pre-assembled and wired, the Perma-Cool unit installs without cutting, drilling or other modifications. Two models are available depending on stock radiator width: 28.5 inches or 34 inches.
