Eliminate excessive CV joint, CV boot and front differential wear and improve mileage with an Off Road Solutions manual hub conversion kit from Performance Products. Most late-model 4WD Toyota® vehicles are equipped with the Automatic Differential Disconnect system, which enables the driver to shift into four wheel drive without getting out and manually "locking" the front wheel hubs. Though convenient, the ADD system forces the front axle shafts to turn with the wheels, even in 2WD. The constant rotation prematurely wears out CV joints and other expensive components, especially on vehicles with more than 2-inches of lift. The ORS Manual Hub Conversion solves the problem by allowing the front drivetrain to be selectively disconnected from the front wheels, exactly as you would with a conventional 4WD system.
The O.E.-quality Off Road Solutions kit allows a generous 3 1/2-inches of suspension lift and includes Warn manual locking hubs, genuine Toyota® wheel bearings, and all other parts and hardware necessary for a complete conversion. Available for ‘96-’02 4 Runner, ‘95-’02 Tacoma and ‘00-’02 Tundra four wheel drive models.
