Mercury Cyclone Dielectric Panels From Just Dashes
February 2002
Van Nuys, CA: During the Detroit heavy metal muscle car era of the Sixties and early Seventies, an automotive Cyclone was born. The Mercury Division of Ford Motor Company, always known for luxo-mobiles, wanted to jump on the performance bandwagon and did so with their mid-sized Cyclone. Set up with all the “right stuff”, this pocket rocket could fry the tires and put many a full-size muscle machine on the trailer.
JUST DASHES can now restore the rare interior vinyl parts of these collectibles, including the dielectrically stamped front and rear door panels. These 1970 Cyclone panels are particularly unique as they use two different grains of vinyl, Corinthian grain for the outside and Buffalo grain for the center inserts. JUST DASHES can meld these two patterns exactly as the factory produced them and reinstall your original chrome trim. No multi-color or multi-grain door panel is too difficult for JUST DASHES.
