Pauls Valley, OK: In 1965 Robert Lichtmann opened Covercraft for business in southern California‘s San Fernando Valley. At that time it was just a 2-man operation, manufacturing custom-patterned car covers for the import sports car market and aftermarket automotive parts suppliers. During this first 40-years Covercraft has grown to a team of over 400 employees, expanded into three manufacturing locations and is the largest manufacturer in the world of custom car, truck and SUV covers. Over the years motorcycle, watercraft and ATV covers have been added, as well as a wide assortment of vehicle interior and exterior protection products.
Covercraft is now headquartered 60-miles south of Oklahoma City, in senic Pauls Valley. In four decades the company has amassed a library of over 55,000 patterns, and adds many new appications each week. They are pioneers in creating CUSTOM FIT covers for almost any vehicle. Covercraftsmanship has resulted in their being certified TS16949:2002, a world wide quality system and ISO 14001, an environmental quality program.
